Barb Mulvey - Keynote SpeakerBarb is a certified Biblical Counselor and her church’s Director of Biblical Guidance. Born and raised in Canada, she immigrated to the U.S. in 1998. Her journey to freedom after sexual abuse is described in her book Hope Ahead, The effects of abuse were shame, broken trust, betrayal, anger, and despair, but Barb now lives a joyful life in Christ – acceptance, security, trust, love, and freedom.

Jennifer SmithJennifer Smith’s life today shines with two loves: Jesus and His Word. Her old life filled with “sex, drugs and rock n' roll,” show the dangers of settling for less than the abundant life Jesus offers. Featured on Words to Live By and God Answers Prayer, Jennifer has training with CLASSeminars, as well as, expository preaching and biblical lay counseling. As a Bible study teacher, ministry leader and deacon at church, her passion is to help women live with purpose in all seasons of life.

Hannah OvertonIn 2006, Hannah and her husband, Larry, started to adopt Andrew into their "forever family.” Before finalizing the adoption, Andrew died of a rare, fatal disease. Both parents were accused of murder: Hannah received a life sentence and Larry was left to raise their five children. In prison, even as she taught Bible studies, she wrestled with deep questions. After 7 years, Hannah was exonerated and all charges were dropped. Hannah and her husband now minister to those behind bars.

Cris PaulsonCris Paulson has counseled in the church for almost 30 years. She recently published a book Hope Ahead, co-author Barb Mulvey, on finding freedom after sexual abuse. As teacher, VBS leader, retreat planner, pastor’s wife, women’s ministry leader—she has experienced church hurts.

Sara GhormleySara recently celebrated 24 years of marriage to a good man, Doug. When she’s not directing traffic for three teenagers, she works as a secretary at a small church. She is in her third year of training in biblical counseling, working toward being a certified counselor. Sara loves to share the hope that God gave in her struggle out of clinical depression into freedom.

Laura RosecransIn gratitude for her miraculous healing from abortion’s effects, Laura Garcia-Rosecrans and her husband, Dan, founded Surrendered Hearts Abortion Recovery Ministries in 2014, tirelessly spreading the message: ABORTION IS NOT GOOD FOR WOMEN. She is an outspoken advocate, spreading God’s grace to women, and uniting them with hope.

Jennifer GrayJennifer left a successful career to dedicate her time to her loving and supportive husband and two young children. She stays very busy volunteering at her children’s school and serving in the children’s ministry at her church. Jennifer lived with the shame of struggling with anxiety and anger until she experienced the power of God's promise, “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.” James 5:16a

Susan SwaffordSusan is a Bible study writer, author and teacher. For nearly two decades, she has mentored women from all walks of life – from women in jail to women in the business world. She is the ministry leader and author of the book Broken from Silence. Susan has experienced the transforming power of God’s healing of her “broken story.” Her passion is for women to be broken from their silence and set free from their chains.

Karen WarinKaren has lead Christian women for 20+ years, currently through Faith@Work and the Navigators. Her passion is to make disciples and to recruit leaders who will bring Christ into the workforce. She also teaches how to have creative quiet times with God through workshops and her website, Come To The Banquet. Karen has a grown daughter and son and one grandson.

Leanne LuskoLeanne gave her life to the Lord in her 20's and moved from Seattle to Albuquerque to begin her new adventure. Finishing her degree in Music, Leanne led worship in six ministry departments for her church. Recently, God led her to step in a different direction and volunteer for She Ministries and Project Zoë. She loves raising two toddler boys and being a helpmate to her husband of seven years.

Cherita M. LambCherita truly gave her life to Jesus Christ in her late 20’s. She has served in many ministries: counselor, music worship leader, prayer and teaching. In her free time, (!) she wrote and produced the musical dance production The Torn Veil. Her desire is to daily serve the Lord whenever and wherever He leads. Her husband is an Assistant Pastor at Calvary ABQ. They have three children.

Glenda DuranoGlenda’s wisdom from experience: When you can’t see God’s hand, you can still trust His heart. She loves to encourage others in their Christian walk, especially while walking through adversity. Glenda serves as a Bible study leader, prayer partner, and children’s choir director at Calvary Chapel ABQ. She owns College Advising and Planning Services, a full-service, faith-based educational consulting firm in Albuquerque.

Richelle WrightLet Richelle train you in Kingdom warfare! Years in the Air Force taught her military tactics, but her weapons now are Holy Spirit-led against a personal enemy (Satan). From her own trauma, she has a heart to help hurting women heal wounds, overcome pain, and experience God’s full blessings. She serves with Children’s, Jail and Prison, and Living Free ministries at her church.
