Is God Enough? - Hannah Overton

Sure, God is powerful, but is He truly all we need? He is, but I learned that in prison, convicted of murder. We planned to adopt a little boy we met at church, but when he died in our home from a rare, fatal disease, our lives collapsed. My husband and I were accused of murder, and I received a life sentence. Why did He allow this to happen to me when all I ever wanted to do was serve Him? I questioned God's goodness, but as the years passed I saw that God's perfect plan for my life included that prison. I could still serve Him there.
  • He became everything to me – my husband, my family, my best friend.
  • He helped me every day, even when I missed my family so much I didn't know if I would survive.
  • He answered my tough questions and helped me see life from His perspective.

I led Bible studies in prison and many women came to know Jesus as their Savior. In this workshop, I will share some practical tools and lessons God gave me during my 7 years behind bars. I can show you from my own experience, that God is faithful and He is enough.
