What does God’s Word say about Forgiveness – when do we forgive, why do we forgive, and how do we forgive? We will tackle some misunderstandings and wrong thinking about forgiveness. With all my heart, I believe Forgiveness is the key to Freedom. I also believe that a key indicator of maturity in your Christian walk is a willingness to obey God’s command to forgive.
Mark 11:25 is challenging: “And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in Heaven may forgive you your sins.” Yet as we obey that command, we will taste God’s power. Forgiveness does not make sense—but neither does marching around Jericho 7 times and shouting! As the Israelites obeyed, the enemy’s walls came down. And as you forgive, you will see God’s power work in wonderful ways.

Three years ago, my life shattered when I brought home a special needs baby. I was the caregiver of a medically fragile child with an uncertain future. I felt trapped, hopeless and depressed.
But God showed me a better way. Now I can parent and take care of my daughter from a heart of joy. I have found true rest and the secret to moving forward with hope. Are you the mother of a small child? The caregiver for a parent? The spouse of a cancer or Alzheimer’s patient? These roles can be exhausting emotionally, physically, and mentally. Even our spirits can feel broken. You, too, can find rest! In this workshop you will:
Have you ever wanted to tell a secret or admit a sin but were afraid no one would accept you if they knew the REAL you? Are you afraid to tell God for fear He won’t love you or want a relationship with you anymore?
Pain, sin, betrayal, and hurt are inevitable in this broken world. But they shouldn't keep us imprisoned. We can’t have intimacy with God and people until we break down the walls around our heart. We want to protect ourselves from pain, but the deep relationships we desire elude us. In this workshop, we will explore how Jesus was willing to be vulnerable and REAL with those around Him, despite their betrayal, lack of trust and contempt. Using the Bible as our foundation we will learn:
Do you struggle with an addiction or have been told you have an addictive personality?
Have you tried to stop countless times but haven’t found lasting victory? Do you long to find true joy, peace and freedom? Jesus wants His children to be free, satisfied, living abundantly in the purpose they were created for. Yet when we live trapped in strongholds, we don’t fully experience what is rightfully ours. Whether you have struggled with drugs, alcohol, food, gambling, pornography, compulsive shopping, people-pleasing, perfectionism, or any other controlling, destructive habit, this workshop is for you. Freedom is not found in a program, behavior modification or even your own will power—real freedom comes from what Christ has done for us. The Bible says we have God’s power to conquer “sin that so easily entangles us.” In this workshop we will focus on:
Through JESUS you already have the victory. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. (John 8:36) Are you one of the millions of people that struggle with depression? Or have you received a clinical diagnosis? Even as a believer, do you fight to find joy in life? I was trapped in the pit of depression for many years, but God led me out of the darkness. I believe He can do the same for you.
Depression is fueled by lies, like chains that keep us in the dark pit of despair. This workshop will help you discover Truths to break the chains that have kept you down so long. We will expose different lies we believed down in the pit:
Fear is a crippling disease that captures our mind and plunges our thoughts into darkness. It looms over us and controls every move and decision. It’s one of the enemy’s most popular weapons to use against us. Is your biggest fear that your secret sin will be exposed?
If your secret sin is part of a secret story, God wants to heal it, redeem it and use it for His glory. He wants to breakthrough your story, take it captive, then set the YOU, the captive, free. He gets to the REAL story—the power to have victory over our giant! He breaks through the strong fortress. God makes the impossible, possible! The real story is in the power of Jesus Christ and how He works things out for good. The real story is how He moves you from fear to faith to freedom! The real story is for you to be equipped to spread the knowledge of Jesus Christ as you allow Him to use your story for His glory.
Faithful is He who calls you, He also will do it. - 1 Thessalonians 5:24 As the saying goes, “Hurt people hurt people.” Sin, hurts, offenses and trauma create Soul Wounds. They also create strongholds that affect your mind, will and emotions. Holding onto those offenses affects your soul and allows the Enemy to wreak havoc in your life.
You have all spiritual authority to heal your Soul Wounds, but Satan does not want you to walk in that full authority! The Great Physician wants your Wounded Soul healed! The Lord has given me this Soul Healing process and I want to walk you through it:
Home is where the power plays are. Control, threats, fear, stress, silence and screaming--are these normal? Or is this an abusive relationship?
Let's look at the heart of abuse as it plays out in marriage.
There is always Hope!! Don't stay trapped in Fear and victim thinking. Trust in God's heart of Love toward you. Is your marriage on the brink of divorce? Are you afraid of your husband or fear that if he knew the real you he would reject you? Does your marriage feel more like a prison sentence than wedded bliss?
In this workshop, we will be REAL about struggles in marriage. Throughout 25 years of marriage I've lived through lying, anger, fear, non-confrontation, infidelity and pornography. I've prayed that my husband would die, so I could be free. I get it. I've lived there. BUT GOD….. When my husband and I were just a pen stroke away from divorce, God captured both of our hearts. He redeemed a terrible marriage and turned it into a treasure. In this workshop I will teach you:
Over the years God gave me these tools that have helped our marriage to not just survive, but THRIVE! Do you sense a calling on your life?
Maybe a seemingly impossible dream that God has put in you? Do you feel unqualified or inadequate for the task? How do you move from fear to faith to freedom into your calling? We have an enemy, Satan whose mission statement is to steal, kill and destroy. He does not hesitate to use various strategies to accomplish this mission to try to keep you from living in the freedom Christ died to give you. In this workshop we will focus on how God's word instructs us to be conquerors.
You have a unique sphere of influence and a mission so exciting and custom fit for you. You are already a victor, so move from fear to faith to freedom and be free to be you! "Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors thorough Him who loved us." Romans 8:37 Have the ideas of a performance-driven world seeped into your relationship with God?
Do you try to please God and earn His approval by your performance? Do you consider some days a success and some a failure? Get off the roller coaster of working harder—rest in the finished work of the cross. In this workshop we will explore God's grace - His generous riches, unmerited favor and unconditional love. These gifts don't stop at salvation but empower us for victory in the Christian walk. Whether you feel discouraged and weak from a besetting sin, a weight that hinders you, or weary in waiting on God, His Grace is your answer. We will look to Scripture to understand and apply the role of Grace in:
Are you living a life full of fear and skepticism?
Are you imprisoned by your fearful thoughts? Are you allowing the difficult situations in your life to control you? When we allow fear to rule us, we make fear more powerful than God. We all have struggled with fear at one time or another: Fear of rejection, misunderstanding, uncertainty, sickness, even death. I invite you to come hear how I have conquered fear through the light of our Lord who brings eternal salvation! In this workshop, I will talk about:
Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1 When we face overwhelming, tough or scary situations—illness, betrayal, loss, grief—we wonder, “What if…?” We’re pulled into a vortex of Fear, a struggle with “Why this is happening….?” I’m a Christian. Why does God allow this? Is it a test? Or an attack? Has God left me? What do I do if God doesn’t answer?
The opposite of Fear is not Courage, it’s Faith. In this workshop, you’ll discover the tools God gives us:
When God does give us more than we can handle, we learn to depend on Him. Going “through the fire” of her hardest trial (Dan. 3), Glenda discovered that Freedom came in letting go of Fear and finding Faith—even as a Christian for decades. This thought-provoking, truth-filled workshop will have you “Living Beyond” your circumstances. Shame makes you hide, it forces you to cower, it steals your dignity, and it cuts you off from others. You are left on your own, burying your secrets, veiling your actions, covering your inadequacies, building walls that keep others out and your shame in. Shame runs deep within a lot of women.
Shame is a foe that must be defeated. It robs Christians of the freedom to live in transparency and love. Many Christians find shame always has the last word. Shame is like a heavy chain that keeps us from running the Christian race well. For many woman shame is more than an emotion, it’s an identity issue. In this workshop we will discuss:
Does it seem like a losing battle helping kid’s faith grow in today’s culture?
Do you fight Social Media for your kids’ attention? Do you wonder if your parenting or mentoring makes any difference? Come and join us in a workshop/discussion on helping kids develop a sincere faith. Whether you are parenting your own children or mentoring others, you will find encouragement and practical help in a Bible study about spiritual investment and practical involvement through the life of Timothy. Prayer sounds so complicated—do I have to use special words? How do I address God—as Father, Lord God, Most Holy God or Abba? When can I pray? Is there a particular position I need to use?
The answer to most of these is “However you choose to”! Prayer is an attitude of trust than the right words. Effective prayer comes from the heart of a trusting child. Persistent Prayer is much better than perfect Prayer. We will explore:
Don’t miss the blessings God will pour out on you as you believe and pray! Are you in a challenging season or transition in your life? Is it difficult to see beyond the crisis of the moment? Or do you feel like God is picking on you? Followers of Jesus will experience seasons of sifting. They can be a time of great discouragement unless we understand God’s purpose.
This interactive workshop explores a biblical perspective of challenges, and the call to anchor ourselves in hope instead of frustration or despair. We will examine Jesus’ words to Peter from Luke 22:31-32: “Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.” You will create a timeline of times of sifting in your life. Then through teaching and discussion, we will explore how:
Have you ever felt overcome by fear? Fear can be debilitating, and faith can seem impossible
when our lives feel out of our control. Freedom comes when we trust our faithful God. On September 7, 2007 I was convicted of capital murder and sent to a maximum-security prison for “life without the possibility of parole.” I was convicted of the death of my son, a crime I did not commit. I started questioning everything! Fear consumed me! My five children were left without a mother, and Emma, my 7 month old, was still nursing. I knew God was God and He was sovereign, but I couldn't grasp how He could love me and allow all of this to happen. How could I have faith that He had good plans even when my world had turned upside down? My physical freedom had been taken away, but God had plans to use this to bring freedom to so many more. On May 10th of this year, I was finally declared actually innocent! God has turned this tragedy into so much more! He began a ministry that has and is touching the world with His love! This workshop will explore how to move from fear to faith to freedom.
